Michael Christopher, CTO, Development Analyst, Healthcare IT Transition Group

Mr. Christopher brings nineteen years' experience in capital development with an emphasis in the implementation of information systems, in addition to four years in public accountancy. He has served within in the healthcare, social services and cultural fields in missions as diverse as application development, IT capital development, finance and marketing. He was the architect of a suite of applications targeting these sectors, and served as CEO for a developer of enterprise applications for nonprofit organizations. He served "in the trenches" throughout a provider's first JCAHO accreditation process, and in numerous automation initiatives in New York and Oklahoma. He led or participated in first-of-kind projects during the early period the Web, and has presented and facilitated on privacy, ethics, data modeling, mission accountability and finance topics. He has served as lead case writer and grantwriter for numerous capital projects seeking private, state and federal funding. Mr. Christopher provides fundraising, capital development, web development and marketing counsel to commercial and nonprofit clients, and serves as editor of the HITSync Digest of Health IT Reporting.
